    Camburg LT, King front shocks, glassworks front fenders, 35" general grabbers, DTF front bumper, 8000k hids,
    I would unbolt ur lower shock bolt and let ur shock lower down and see how much lift u can get that way. If u get no more than 3in of lift i think u could use them TEMPORARILY. I could be wrong Doug knows more on the subject. Well see what he says.

    It will depend on how big the blocks are. If they are 3" lift blocks then your shocks will be fine...

    Yeah, I think the are about 2-2.5" thick, i'll check when I get home. Another question about this. When doing a refurb, the main toyota spring stays and the other leafs are added under it correct? Is that the general idea?

    Yea. Keep the one that the shackles are on and build under it. You are a 2nd gen? If so you will have equal distance from center pin to each end.

    I think I read the answer somewhere but I don't remeber and can't find it now, but will the second gen leafs work on a first gen. I know the coils are different up front but wasn't sure about the rear.

    Yes, theres 2 ways to go about it, if your looking for a lift with firmer ride you can just add a spring or 2 under the existing main,secondary(with bushing wrap) & TSB spring if applicable, another way to go for lift & very firm susp. is to use just the main & remove all springs & rebuild with 3 or 4 Chevy springs, but be prepared for a 3" lift with extremely firm susp. great for offroad but may be too firm for some on street..

    Not recommended because the eliptical springs on 1st gens. are configed for driveshaft length..

    Is it possible to use a 2wd main leaf or pack to build off of? And if I have an 2003 Tacoma what year Tacoma/Toyota should I be looking at to get a set of main leafs from?
    It's a daily driver and I want to build the leaf packs first before removing the stock ones, then put the rebuilt ones on to limit possible down time.

    You can do this in one day ... but if you are making a spare set use almost identical to what is on the truck.

    Not sure on this one but thinking the standard 2wd is a 5 lugger if not TRD, but think I'd try to stay within years '98 thru 04' & model (either 4x or TRD if 2wd)

    Like Chris said its really not a ball buster to do in a short day, just do your homework & have your parts ready to go ...
