    so, i just got home, went to the chiro, he confirmed thaat it is in fact my herniated disc acting up. He did minor adjustments to my upper back and did some spinal decompression stuff, then sent me to my family practice dr for some anti-inflammitories. Still hurts like crazy, gotta ice for a bit.


    Mike, why would Jess be upset? I went to a chiro in Waterford lakes for almost 2 years to get me better the first time around after the accident.

    my assumption is shes a physical therapist or similar. PT ppl usually think chiropractors are a bunch of poo poo.

    i love a good chiro, you can walk in feeling like shit and walk out like you're a brand new person. then again i went to one last year here in debary that wasnt so good.

    Jess is indeed a doctor of physical therapy (also a certified strength and conditioning coach). Her main beef is that they require you to attend them on a constant basis to feel good. They dont do things to help you actually heal.

    My girlfriend sees a chiro for her back (she has minor scoliosis that used to cause her some pain).

    She only see's him like once a month, but I can see what you mean. I have went to a chiro before and he wanted me to see him 3x a week for 2 months.... $30 a visit...FUCK that...

    I went and got a massage....helped out a lot.

    Because of the nature of my job, I put strain on my back literally every day I go to work. I have learned a couple of back strengthening exercises and stretches that I do in the AM when I wake up. They help a lot.
