I am curious to see what prices you get. I might need to get mine painted but we'll see, white on white might not be so bad. I laughed my ass off when I called a local shop in Poway and they said the best way would be to fade it into the hood and doors, seems like overkill, quoted that at $1800, I laughed and asked how about just shooting it the factory color, off the truck and they said $1200. Wow, the rent is high in Poway but seriously.

Holy shit! Go to autozone or pep boys, they have rattle can toyota white, get some primer, clear coat and go at it. I bet it turns good too

 

I called 3-4 shops. All same price. I did mine myself in my garage....

 

hmmm, interesting... anyone planning on painting there fenders wanna do em together?

 

Ya, just maybe. I gotta get mine fitted this weekend and go from there. I think I will get the paint and clear at Tri-City and shoot it with a cup gun and hope to get better results, spray paint wont hold up to brush for long.

Yea, I have zero weld experience, I know you put oxygen and argon together and twist the knobs and then click the lighter and twist the knobs to change the flame...and then point the flame at stuff to make it hot lol.

Seems like alot of the Mechanic jobs I'm applying for have all my qualifications except they want what I have PLUS welding AND electrical lol. Was gonna ask my father in law...but won't be up at his house until probably thanksgiving...and I can't wait that long lol

 

got a quote of $150 to paint and repair the chips/nicks and 2 cracks

Yea, I've heard of MIG and TIG, just no idea what it means . I saw this one guy use this thing that basically he just touched the tip to it and it zapped. I'm going to shut up now and stop making stupid references towards welding lol.
