Melatonin is a decent sleep aid. it is the chemical that your body makes to put you to sleep. Not sure of the exact spelling but you can find it at an pharmacy. Just make sure to take the correct dose. disclaimer : I am not a doctor or have had any medical training, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

I actually tried that many years ago when working at GNC. They came in 3mg form and said not to excede 3mg. I dont know why, its not dangerous cause like death valley said, they're natural. problem is, you get use to it and have to start taking higher doses, then it stops working all together. and the problem with taking something that your body naturally produces is after a while your body says "hey, i'm getting this without producing it so i'm gonna stop making it". So you stop producing as much as you normally would. when i finally stopped taking it, i stayed up for over 48 hours just cause i couldnt sleep. my body had pretty much quite making it. its good for a temporary solution, but i need a long term solution. i've had sleep problems my whole life.

I'm not commenting on what you wear in your own bed. It's what you're not wearing when you climb trees that troubles me.
