How close is the area your running to Lake Pleasant? Im sure they have camp areas right there. If Im able to I would stay the night out there

So I have 3 loops plotted out and pending the prerun of each to determine final hazards or odd spots this should be pretty fun. 2 are about 8 miles in length (1 is almost entirely wide straight roads, the other is a little more challenging with a few more turns) the Larger loop is about 14 miles with a little bit of everything including a 3 mile long wash section that looks pretty cool

 

When's the prerun? Might be able to attend that as well

So stupid question for a new guy. Is the plan to just bomb these routes? Or will there be a place where we can grab some good pictures. How bad will running these trails in a stock truck? I assume I wont keep up, but is it worth the drive from Tucson if I am just chasing dust all day.

I got some good shots at the Local Motors meet and I would like to get some more at this meet as well as meet some more people. Just trying to figure ouit the plan so I know if its worth it since this is a 2-3 hour drive from Tucson.

It will definately be a higher speed trip but you can go as fast or slow as you want while on the trail, there is no minimum speed. when planning the routes I kept you photo guys in mind and since they are loop trails you will be able to get in front of the group and grab pictures as trucks come by there are some shortcuts in between the loops that you can hit that will get you back in front to shoot again, I'll be sure to show you all this on the map after this weekend. I would say its worth the drive but I am a little Biased

 

Don't worry, I wont keep up with the LT trucks either and wont try (ok, maybe a little lol)!

Want to come shoot some pics at Chiva Falls Sat? I'll be in Tucson and Infra and I are checking it out Saturday morning!
