Do you have some more details on this? Looks like a Fiskars X27 & X5 but what is with the mounts? I know they come with the axe blade mounts but what are the handle mounts that you used? Do you have any more detail on the install or the parts used? Looks real good and very useful to have them at the ready like that.

 

I think it changed with the years. My 07 TRD O/R has the ABS on the passenger side wheel well.

Thanks dude. They're very simple to install. I figured out where i wanted to mount them, then I removed the black plastic trays. I then drilled 4 small holes in the trays where the quickfists bolt to. Used M10 bolts/nuts that fit through holes pre-drilled in the quickfist. If I ever have to remove them, there will be 4 small unnoticable holes.

 

My 08 is on the passenger side too

 

Please don't take this as raining down on your parade but I bought one of those and broke it within 20 minutes of use. Has life time warranty. I got a new one and broke it again the same day. It's all looks but the handle is weak...

 

I'll keep that in mind. The small one has been good so far.

 

Yeah, I absolutely hate how much cool stuff you can do with the quad cabs and it makes me hate my AC. To be able to roll down the rear windows, have room for full size subs, boxes and amps as well as room to do things like what you've done and have full size grab handles for another project I'm working on... Wish I had a DC.

 

Sanded down some pretty rusty scratch spots on my frame (from rocks hitting it and stuff) and sprayed rubber underbody coating. Really neat stuff. I plan on getting more cans and putting it all over the underside of the truck & maybe even on my stock rims haha.
