Potential Hindu Home Buyer

I'm looking for an answer from anyone who knows anything about the Hindu culture.

My wife and I are selling our condo. We have a sign up but it hadn't been listed yet. Our neighbor's was also listed. We saw some people looking at the condo so we invited them to take a look at ours as well. They were a Hindu couple with a Hindu realtor. They liked our condo and I saw them talking about it in the parking lot. They called our agent and made an offer (it was a low offer, about 6% less than our asking price).

After they left, my wife and I were walking outside and noticed a small Hindu idol on the ground by our kitchen window. Does anyone know what it means? Is it meant to ward off potential Hindu buyers or some kind of protection? We're clueless. We've left it there.

Wonder if it's something like the St Joseph buried in the yard to help sell the home? But for the buyer, not the seller? Kinda weird.
