Welcome. What's hard about AUDIs? Electrical or mechanical work? My friend is deciding between '03 330i or A4.

The a4 1.8t or 2.0t they are pretty easy but the 3.0 is a difficult to work on. its german cars in general you got to learn how they thank when the put a car together. I can tell you this i have seen many A4 1.8t 4 cylinders with over 100000 miles. if hey goes with the A4 and its a 1.8t motor that all the service records can be verified. and that he has all his services documented. the down fall to the 1.8t is some of them have a sludge problem. if he has all the services done and on time with sythetic oil and audi oil filter the problem is covered to 100,000 after that mileage we havent seen many problems.

I cant put down the BMW because i think they are cool looking cars. But either way they are german cars and very expinsive to work on and get parts.

Welcome to TW. I know where your coming from, my sister had an old Audi that she was always wanting me to work on. I'm used to working on mustangs and not much else so I was pretty lost in that Audi.
