I'm from Chatt, but I've only been on this forum for about a month now... Just got my first Taco... Loving it... Still pretty stock, but I hope to have some mods done to it in the near future

 

I'm in the Cleveland and Chatt area.

 

Yeah me and my brother n law was coming back from doing a little squirrel huntin.

just need to go down to dealer and have them put on. Nitto terra grapplers in a LT265/75R16E

pic. also think i’m going to cut/trim my front mud flaps and put them back on. tires want to throw rocks after a gravel road or something.

yeah bigest i can go with out any rubbing or cutting. they are only like 1’ taller than stock. went from a 265/70R16 to 265/75R16. i have plains to lift and i will go bigger than. next mod is tint windows. hew head unit with nav and blue tooth. than a custom roof rack with some off road lights than a lift. tires do REALLY good off road. i went up a service road that even witch stock tires i did not need 4wd. but now i really have to stomp on it to get them to spin even, in a few inches of mud.

going up 2 trails at royal blue in a bit i think. may need 4wd but i will also be scouting for a off road meet.

will have more pic and maybe a video later today or tomorrow.

 

took aquick pic today of the Tacoma. Only mod done is 20% tints. Going to add the AVS vent visors later today. And have somw Smittybilt tubes on order. After tthat I don't know.

yes spring squirrel is open til June 10.

discount tire has them for $205 each. i went and picked them up in Alcoa.

yeah i looked it up last night, i forgot about the spring squirrel season. i’ll :facepolm: my self i should know dad works for TWRA. lol

 

Anyone know of anyone selling a 1st gen 4x4 around here? Moving up near Cedar Bluff in June so my daily commute is going to be almost nothing and I miss having a truck more and more each day. Plus it'd help with moving in. Why'd I get rid of my 1st one... fml

 

i think i saw a few on CL last night. idk what they looked like or anything. yeah gas can be a bitch in a truck but i don’t expect 30mpg lol.i’m house/dog sitting this week and i’m 50 miles from my house. i stayed here to day sat in side or on porch all day. i’m out past windrock in wartburg. closest thing is 4 miles and thats just a damn gas satiation. oh and the obed river is closer. going home in the am so i don’t go crazy than drive back out around 5:30pm. oh well going to make $125

 

Cool deal bud. Shoot me some links if you see any in the <$10k range. Preferably reg cab, 4cyl, 4x4. Wouldn't mind a 5spd. Really wish I jumped on that teal one in Athens.

 

ok will keep an eye out. i was look to see if there was any toyota P/U would kinda like one just to go play in the mud and stuff with and not beat the shit out of the ’07 don’t mind some mild stuff with it but i want it to stay nice as well. my friend with the FJ looked at a ’03 jeep today he may get for same reasons.
