    Welcome back, looking forward to the pics n videos now that I have fast enet. I have a growling sound coming from the front end of the truck now. Changed the gear oil tonight, and no abnormal amount of metal flakes in the oil. Leaning more torwards a wheel bearing now. ECGS is changing shops this week so they cant even get me in untill end of next week.

    What do you mean by "growling"? I would be curious to hear it and see if it sounds like my issue. Gotta find a place that can re-tube my drive shaft locally.

    Very well could be, sound is worse at 20-30 mph and felt through the gas pedal and steering wheel. If it is a clamshell bearing ecgs should fix it. They just swapped in another one when it was up there.

    The anchor point was put in by someone else but the shackle had broken. The orange thing is called a soft shackle and worked awesome. Larry wanted to just wrap the winch line around and clip back onto itself. The soft shackle worked better and safer. Luckly no one lost any tires from us. The Land Cruiser popped a bead but he was at like 6psi.

    The vid was speed up or it would have been an hour long. After Larry Broke it was all about recovery and not picture taking. It did not help that it was like 100 degrees in the rocks and everyone was smoked at that point. Courtney and Kendra were exhausted and Larry was tottering on heat exhaustion. We managed with me making people take brakes and cool off in the trucks with the AC running. It was a good thing I had my 5 gallon water can or we really would have been up shit creek.
