Thanks. Your right about the sandy soil. Last fall I started working on the the back yard again I had to take care of some grading issues with some fill before I do the final grade. Right now all that is back there is some left over grass from when the original house was here and weeds. I am aiming for the end of the summer to get a few loads of clean top soil down and the final grade with some Round up to clean up some of the weeds so I can seed in the fall.

UK and Australia if I remember correctly. You see, in the rest of the civilized world people realize sex is normal and people have it on a regular basis, and it's pretty funny.

Sexuality in commercials is only a problem here in the states with all these fucking guilty religious wackos.

Did you notice the fully-furred cat at the start vs. the hairless cat at the end? I always liked that touch.

Thanks! I do that periodically, along with hitting the random weeds that pop-up in the river rocks. I am always amazed at their resiliency while (sometimes) having to nurse sections of my yard along...

    Thank you!

Had a new house built last spring. We did the sprinkler system and the landscaping ourselves, better than what the house came with and I got alot more for a little more money. We always use a Kentucky Bluegrass/Perennial rye. We use 15-15-15 or 16-16-16 blend the soil is alkali and clay. I have pressurized irrigation off a canal so I dont have to pay for city water....just the HOA dues.

Im going to lowes to get my mulch and a few plants today to finish my backyard project. all the grass is pretty much dead that was inside the trenched area.

My garden is finally doing good. we have harvested 3 big green squash so far. We have lots more on the way along with some yellow squash, several tomatoes that will be ready to pick in about a week and my Peppers are finally growing!

I usually buy my mulch from a supply store it cheaper buying in bulk the buying the bags from Lowes but I guess it also depends on how much you need. I will buy the bags if I have to touch up a couple places.

I have to start my garden I broke the belt on the tiller the other day. I am going to do some tomatoes and peppers I will have to figure out what else I am gong to plant.

Sounds like a good crop :)

we are only doing tomotoes (beef steak), green and yellow squash, spinach, carrots, 4 types of hot peppers (jalapeno, big jim jalapeno, cayenne, and some tyoe of asian pepper) and i bought a lemon tree so hopefully I will get to harvest a few of those as well.

some of my peppers, lemon tree, and some carrots that I randomly planted in the ground to the left.

I made good progress in the back yard this weekend. I still need probably 6 or 7 bags of mulch though. This is before I started planting

Edges look great. Nice and crisp and defined. My only suggestion is to cut that "widows peak" off that bed. You want obtuse angles for your grass. Keeps from having to fit the lawnmower in awkward places.

My wife said "it looks like a butt".

So I will probably trim the "crack" and have one big curve. Thanks for the tip
