    Here's the thing. It depends how we're mounting it and the firing technique.

    It would need to have a welded tube frame that attaches to the bed bolts (coupling it to the frame). As long as the firing is done with the transmission in neutral I think all should be good. I'd suggest a little more travel than stock with regards to the suspension. Reason being is that the more impulse we can add to the mix the easier it will be to deal with the applied force.

    The real question is which direction are we firing the cannon? Front firing means you're on the attack and therefore a BAMF. Rearward firing means you're running like a little bitch.

    Did none of you play Grand theft auto as kids? You could spin the tanks turret backwards and go full throttle forward while shooting as fast as you could and eventually the tank would fly! It's science! Put a boat skid underneath it and you'd have a true All Terrain Vehicle! Including clouds as part of the terrain!

    A rocket engine is better for acceleration. You get continuous thrust down the dragstrip, and the weight is gradually reduced as propellant is burned away. Plus it fits under the tonneau:
