Not that this related to grilles whatsoever, but does anybody know of a good pest control company in the central Florida area?

Had Massey come out and give me an estimate - $150 for the initial treatment and then $75/qtr. after that.

Curious what else is out there and whether or not anybody had the hookup.

The grill's areat J. There is a good place up in Maitland called do it yourself. I spray mine inside and out precore and gen core takes care of about everything. If you do not want to do it PM me and we can work something out,,, Pest co.'s are a rip in case you did not guess... Jim

 

I have used Massey since we bought our house 4 years ago, they do our pest and termite. I think they are great, low hassel and they will show up at the drop of a hat when we have any issues, like ants or spiders or anything along those lines. And it has been the same guy treating our house for those 4 years so he knows us and we know him.

Good to know! Does the $75/qtr. sound about right to you? This was my first experience with them so I wanted to be sure they weren't just throwing a number out there.

The only number that was kind of shocking to me was the $150 for the initial treatment. They said they pull the trim off the plumbing, pump it full of chemicals and then seal it and reapply the trim. I mean...I'm sure it will take a little time since our house has a crawl space and there are quite a few pipes but that was just kind of shocking to me.

They treat our office and they are definitely quick to respond.

I'll chat with Jim about what he does and see which option sounds best to me.

If you have a prerunner and want to make it 4 wheel drive then I would go with the FJ Case. Too much crap to deal with on the Tacoma case. Also, unless your prerunner already has the wiring for the 4wd computer, your going to want to run the 4runner full time 4wd drive front diff because you would have to recreate the wiring harness and that would be a bitch. If yours does have the wiring harness already, then you could use the part time front diff from the Tacoma and just wire in a switch for the ADD.

Its not an easy job by any means but it can and has been done before. I swapped a 4runner from 2wd to 4wd using the FJ T case and the 4runner full time front diff. Worked like a charm.

Yes, my wife said we were paying $75, but because we have been with them so long now, they just dropped it to $65, plus we pay $60 per quarter for the termite protection.

But of course, i was here yesterday. Working today, gonna try to mount my light bar behind the grille and install the new wheels later if its slow. And yes, i brought my old grille with me to try to swap over my TRD badge.

 

Sat is never slow..Last weekend to Tampa, Pal gets out of cancer center Sun. for good..

 

First, you are right, sat is usually busiest day of the week.

Second, congrats, always good when they can be at home instead of cooped up in a hospital.
