Negative. This is a screenshot from a video, which showed the crew firing the gun repeatedly. The Libyans knew what they were doing. There is a danger of the gun causing a rollover if aimed to the side; that's about it.

    This.^^^

Any people who can stage a successful revolution with weapons that are stolen from the military and/or built out of a Toyota have my utmost respect.

It's gotta be a cannon. Mounted in the the bed in such a way, and high enough, that it can be flipped frontwards or backwards, like when the roadrunner kicks it at the coyote. And it needs a string, long enough to go through the slider, so you can pull it to fire.

    We'll call it Trudi.

and then there was project harp, which fired a 400 pound projectile over 100 miles straight up (ive seen video and it was IMPRESSIVE), or the 16" battleship guns that fired 2000 pound ordinance over 20 miles downrange.
We could develop a cannon that can launch payloads into space, but I dont know of too many payloads that can take 25,000 g's. Send up a satellite, but it will end up like a scattered blob of jelly when it gets up there.
