    Just finished cleaning the TB and it was beyond dirty! Made bens tb look like my ass after a shower (which is pretty clean) I could scoop finger nails full of grime, it was nuts! Never seen that.. Also that was surprising the intake tube before the throttle body, at the end had a pool of built up sludge. I was literally scooping it out worth my finger. All clean now :)

    Well my truck has about 360,000 kms right now and I have over heated it once. This is also the first time I've cleaned it. I'm guessing air/oil must have exhausted back through the manifold and out the intake when it overheated. Cause that stuff was like black tar

    Egr put exhaust back into the intake aorta..its complicated. But do you have it Ian? Could be a bad egr system that is why yours could be so bad.

    I know my truck is gonna go through some major maintenance that's for sure here real soon

    I'll look into the egr valve, thanks! Ive also been reading that it may be caused by a plugged up pcv valve.
