Hi people, I'm trying to decide on weather I should trade in my first gen. Tundra for a 2012 Tacoma. I don't think I'll be adding any mods right away or who knows maybe I won't be able to resist and go mod crazy all over again. I love my Tundra and life is good for me right now but I can't help thinking that life would be so much sweeter if I finally bought the truck I test drive every year lol.
Ive had Dodge, Ford, and Toyota as far as trucks with V8s in all and when I look back the 5.4 F150 was my favorite. I guess it's cuz I felt like it was fun to drive without having to do much to it. Still I really appreciate smaller vehicles for their mpg and maneuverability so is the 4x4 Shortbed Double Cab Tacoma a good choice if I'm looking for: Style, Commuter, Town Shopping, Weekend Traveling, Mild Off Roading type vehicle. I'm basically looking for a crossover type vehicle but in a truck. What do you guys think?

Sounds like a good trade.. and welcome to TW.

I drove a 01 Tundra in hs... got almost the same mpgs and it was alittle more truck than the taco. The access cab i had, had about the same rear legroom as my dbl cab taco i have now. My tundra had leather which was a big bonus. Good luck with your decision
