boooooo. somehow I ALWAYS seem to want parts that are on back order

 

OK! I have put on the grip, and here are some pictures!






So how I mounted it was used a hole saw to cut out a 1 1/8" dia. plywood plug which I then drilled a hole and used a chisel to make an insert for a 12mm fine pitch nut, laid that in with flexible epoxy, set it overnight, then inserted that plug into the grip with the epoxy, set that over night, and tah-dah!

the ICS swith (the circular one is out) needs a new toggle, so going to see if I can find a replacement offline. I've decided that once I get some lights behind the grill, and on the soon-to-be-coming plate bumpers (soon as in the next year) I'll utilize the switches to operate those lights.

It is missing a couple buttons, but they are easy to replace.

That control stick is freaking awesome.

Personally, I'd replace the shift lever with a short throw... that's a TALL stick.

 

removed the mud flaps. looks so much better!

That's a pretty awesome idea.... I like it... I just think I'd be hitting the momentary switches a lot since its not meant to be gripped like a shifter. Gives me an idea though... wonder if I can get a hold of a throttle grip like from a fighter....would work well on an automatic shifter.


What's that yoke out of? Doesn't have enough buttons to be a 60... I'm guessing a Bell of some sort?
