Just checked out the ARB bumper on the FJ over at champion and it does look very nice. I like the look of the ARB bumper on the tacoma but would it be fine on the stock suspension until I'm ready to lift?

depends on the tire size, and you arent going to put a winch on it right?

There has been a few guys that ran it on stock suspension, but you will sag like a mo-fo, but yes you will be ok for a while. What kind of lift are you getting?

I've been looking at either 5100s or the OME kit. No winch in the near but maybe later.

Going with the 885 coils if you choose the OME lift?

If I get the dealer to install the ARB instead of the factory then I think I will get the 886s.

I would go 886s, alittle rough but at least you wont have to trade out for them later

Just a bumper use 885s I would say.. The 886 are for 200 lb of front weight, most bumpers (except ARB) weigh only 100 lb. I think the ARB weighs about 160 lbs.

Ok just re read & saw u were going with ARB, go with the 886 but I would use the nitro shocks with 886 instead of bilsteins.

Not sure yet if they will. Insurance just looked at it yesterday and should get back to me on a estimate of what the cost will be. Once they tell me what needs to be replaced I'm going to inquire about the ARB and some plate bumpers.
