    Never made noodles or white sauce before. Noodles were pretty thick, I really suck with a rolling pin but it was pretty good! :D Next time I'll add grilled veggy chicken and mushrooms....and I'll also remember to put the salt in :laugh:. Maybe raviolis or lasagna next time!

    Also looking at it, I don't think the last picture has noodles in it :(

    OK..dinner time!!

    braised turkey drumsticks in chili/mole sauce. (mole sauce made from various red chilis) cooled it overnight, took out the fat, and shredded the meat. made homemade mexican rice. set it all ontop of a great flour tortilla from some tortilleria (spelling?) down the street. topped with some fresh avocado, sliced jalapenos, salsa..

    wish i had some sour cream, and pickled red onions..oh well..manana!

    Well between me stressing out about this upcoming pt test ....monday. And the new phone being a pita for getting pics onto this site... I have had nothing. I baked ribs the other night and just cant get the pics to download....i will try again in a minute...

    Guess I spoke too soon. Here are just the ribs. I put a Mcormicks dry rub on them then I baked them at 225 for 4 hours. I drained the juices then slathered them in sweet baby rays and did 2 with stubbs bbq sauce. They came out awesome. I made a pepper relish and plated them but cant the pics up right now.

    Really cant get the pics to download of the ribs plated. Anyway I chopped some yellow,red and orange peppers. I grilled 4 ears of corn and 1 jalapeno. I added all the veggies together after taking out the seeds and ribs of the jalapeno and cutting the corn kernels off the ear. I added salt pepper sugar and balsamic vinegar then ate it........so good nice and fresh light and perfect side to the ribs.....nice summer time dish.

    Anyone else do peanutbutter pancakes? Don't have pics but I love this! Take nice warm pancakes a spread peanutbutter on top then sprinkle with powdered sugar. :drool: I used to think it sounded kinda weird but finally tried it a few weeks ago so I thought I'd share. I also like this since the peanutbutter sticks with me longer than sweet maple syrup.

    The wife and I went to see the broadway show Les Miserables this last weekend.

    Anyhow, along the way there, she says she's hungry and wants lunch first (2PM show)...one block over from the theater is a Cheesecake Factory that she loves. For some reason.

    So, we go in and wait too long for crappy service and overpriced drinks (par for the course really) but, on a whim, I order the New Orleans Shrimp, thinkin' "How bad can this be?"

    I wish I'd have taken pictures. Holy cow, it tasted GREAT. Someone that knows more about cooking than I do please go there and try that, and then come back here and give us the recipe please :)
