I'm thinking of replacing my stock dented chrome bumper and wanted to know the difference between the "w/sr5 package w/o sport package (mine specific) is $343 and the, "w/sr5 package w/sport package is so much cheaper at $163?
My main question is can I use the "w/sport package bumper on my w/o sport package truck and what is the difference between the two? Could I modify the cheaper bumper to fit if it really is different??

I can reuse the plastic steps I'm just wondering if it's mounts differently between the 2. Big reason for replacing the bumper other then the dent is because I want a black bumper so that would essentially be perfect ... As long as I can mount it.

'sport'/base comes primed ready for black or color matched paint. SR5/OR is chromed.

163.00 sounds pretty cheap with only 20.00 shipping. I am thinking there is a misprint here, because I thought there were only 2 options... chrome and black, which you color match yourself.

You'll be fine with that bumper. Another Az member gave me his base black bumper from his sr5 single cab 4 cyl 4x4.. had it painted to color match, and It fits perfectly. Haven't had a problem for almost a year now. Check my build for pics if you want.

Alright here it is, The *Sport* Package Bumper from Toyotapartsbarn.com for $163

When comparing to the actual chrome *OffRoad* bumper you can see that the sport bumper is not quite as large and does not fill in the space as well, however i do not have a problem with the extra space one bit. It was completley bolt on, did not have to modify it in anyway, so i will deffinatley be keeping this bumper on for a while.

Nice! My chrome bumper is dented too, so I may go this route.

Looks good, after doing some research I am guessing the bumper was just the "skin" and you had to use the interior parts from your old bumper?

I am curious as to why the bumper is shorter at the ends though, anyone know, as it seems it would be the same?

I am not 100% sure they actually sell Toyota-Made parts. My dealer doesn't think they do based on their "superseding" Dealer part numbers with their own part numbers. Anyone Know if that is true?
