iOS 5 and iPhone 4S

I tested the case underwater before I put my phone it. Weighted it down with a beer mug for about 4 hours under two feet of water. Did fine, not a drop inside.

The only time I've actually used the phone while it was wet was when I was jogging and it started pouring and I had to call my girlfriend to remind her that her windows were down. Got pretty damn wet during the call but the phone itself was fine.

Next thing I need is waterproof headphones and the waterproof headphone adapter they sell that never seems to be in stock...

Yyyyea...I tested mine when I first got it without the phone in it. That was the first time I've actually put the phone underwater. The adapter didn't come with your case? Mine came with it and an extra headphone "plug". I don't have the waterproof headphones, either.

 

yeah love it! other than the dame mark my truck key made on it. i usually never put phone and key in same pocket but for some reason i did one day. still water proof. i have dunked in the river fishing, in the ocean, in the hot tub and the pool. oh and prob like 15 showers. oh and a glass of coke.

edit: i see you want the water proof adapter for head phones. did they not send you one? they sent me one(well at least i don’t remember adding it to the list) i just have the 4 not 4s.

 

I have an adapter but it isn't the waterproof adapter. Supposedly only the blue one is the real waterproof adapter - the one with the case is the black one.

Yeah-It comes with the normal adapter- Gotta buy the water proof stuff. I love mine- Went to a water park with my kid yesterday and took video to send to his grandparents and everything- I effing LOVE those cases.
Dropped mine in the Hot Springs water at the national park, swimming in the ocean, rain, sweat, take it in the shower, put it in a glass of water at hooters to show the cajun yotas guys how crazy I am...It's great.

agree i saw now point in upgrading to the 4s just for siri. i am also waiting for the 5 and i’ll wait a few months till after it comes out.

 

you sound like me. i wonder if it would hurt it if you put it in bowl of water and froze it. lol

if i’m going to spend $80 on a water proof case i’m going to use it to it’s full extent.

 

I was a Crackberry user and my Bold was dying fast- so I had to get somethingh new- And I was not getting another BB- so it was iPhone or Droid. And the 4S release was about a month away-so I waited to see what it would be- and decided that I liked it.

I'm not sure I'd want to freeze it solid- It's supposed to be snow proof and stuff- but water expands when it freezes- so if a little bit gets in the next to the o-ring it could tweak something I would think...

 

Agreed, I have the 4 right now, had it since last summer. I have my next upgrade discount coming April 2013, so I'll upgrade to the 5 then

 

so i know this kinda defeats the thread title...but who's seen the iOS 6 preview on Apple's website? it looks pretty cool

 

i got mine last may. so 20 months would be.. like feb of next year. on Verizon when you sign a 2 year contract. you can up grade at 20 months.
