Front End clunking/vibration

    So a day before I got my Relentless skids I started to get a weird noise up front when taking off from a stop sign. Since I've put the skids on its only gotten worse. I've checked the steering, sway bar, and the cv axles. My drivers side cv axle is a little bit more loose than my passenger side one. I've read a bunch of threads and can't figure it out. Any ideas??

    A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
    I have a clunk too. My driver side upper control arm rear facing bushing is bad. When I come to a hard stop or turn to the right hard, I hear a clunk. Took me a while to figure out. I tightend and re tightend all the bolts n nuts all over the front end. Then one day I thought to put the front end on jack stands and see if I could get any movement by shaking the wheels. Thats when I found the bushing was bad. The loop housing the bushing was contacting the bolt making the clunk noise. I also noticed that the bushing was seperating from the loop as well. Before that I had another clunk, and it turned out to be the strut rod nut wasn't tight enough. I did an OME lift on another guys truck, and he had a clunk after we lifted it. Turned out to be the sway bar contacting the bottom of the strut when the truck had a slight flex. He put a sway bar relocate from toy tec on and that fixed it. I suggest putting your truck on stands and shaking the front suspension to see where your clunk is coming from. Hope this helps.

    Thanks. Yeah on Wednesday when I get home I'm going to put it on a lift and check everything out. Hopefully it's something as simple as that.

    As for the driver side cv, all of our trucks are like that. I replaced the needle bearing with a bushing and it took some of the up and down movement out, but the in and out is still the same.

    Yeah I was getting a popping then clunking noise. We thought it was a bad LCA bushing then maybe the wheel bearing was going. You can see where the bolts were getting worn from the wheel studs.

    Yeah that's crazy. I hope mines an easy fix. I'm not to mechanically inclined.

    So I've checked everything but the hub bearing assembly. But the noise is gone for now after I rotated my tires.....
