No idea. She was a stray that ended up in a kill shelter. Sweetheart of a girl though.

 

she looks young. Poor thing but as long as she minds her p's and q's she's got it made

 

That's the trick. She needs to gain some weight, real skinny towards the rear. She has a little bit of a limp, not sure if it the awful food the foster was feeding her (she is allergic to wheat and grain) or sleeping in the kennel.

 

How long did the foster have her? Was it long enough for her to get "comfortable"?

 

When Annie was ready for grown up dog food, put her on a lamb and rice food - phew. She got gas badly.... needless to say that was the only bag of that food that she got

 

Goodness, I hope so. It smells awful in here.

Several months. It was decided by us and the rescue that we only take well known dogs until we get a forever companion. It was really hard on us fostering and giving them away. After we fill the void left by Piggy and Luna we may consider fostering again. It felt good helping out some animals in desperate need (Hank and Toby were on their way to being put down when we took them).

If I could find a different rescue organization, I'll consider fostering again. The one I was fostering for, and I realize fosters run only on donations, didn't send me worm medicine for over two weeks and that's when I said Annie was acting up (which she had been, but was getting better). I didn't want to work for an organization that didn't send out necessary items when needed - my girls could have gotten the worms and then I'd have have to take both of them to the vet for treatment and that could be expensive....

The excuse I got was "it's her busy season at work and she'll get it out when she gets time" she was a caterer and it was between Halloween and Christmas. Well, that didn't do the pup any good.

well my pile of rocks grew today... not big enough though.... started raining on me

for pizza I don't order pizza anymore.... I eat too much of it, so

 

my new neighbor doesn't like the rocks in his garden, so he wants them gone. Asked me if I knew anyone who wanted them. I've been bringing them over a 5 gal bucket at at time Didn't seem like it grew very fast today, but I know I brought over a lot of them...

 

Some are going along my house in my "drain bed" - I don't have enough rocks there and the rest somewhere around the yard.

my dogs don't bark when the door bell rings Annie will bark when she sees someone walking to the door, but not at the bell or a knock. Zoie doesn't bark at either. Ollie used to be my "alarm system"
