So far June 2nd is leading over June 9th anyone that voted June 9th also able to go June 9th that didn't vote double? I'm also interested in the Hi-lift.

Also, where shall we meet up? Cabela's per the usual?

Alright let's start getting details for this weekend! Are we thinking morning? Afternoon? Night? Anyone want to meet up for food or BBQ before or after?

Af canyon above tibble fork... are we doing forest lake? Mineral basin? The old mining roads? cascade springs? I haven't been up there yet this year but with the low snow pack I imagine we can get to about anywhere we want. I may flat tow my old cj up too depending on where we go.

    Thoughts?

I'm down for mid day, can easily meet up at the Cabella's. I'm interested in doing the 2nd and the 9th- anybody else down for both? haha. Sorry dudes, I hopped on that Hi-Lift asap  Now just gotta figure out where to mount it. Bedlining the wheels and toolbox if it's not too windy today! Anybody else thinking of camping up AF on the 2nd? Sparky and I are debating it

Anytime is fine with me assuming I'll actually have my truck back by then. Food would depends on when we leave but we could always take some with us too. I don't know any of the trails up there so it all sounds good to me. I wouldn't mind camping out, i have a truck tent to use. cabellas is a good meeting spot though.

Cabalas sounds like an easy spot to meet. Last second shopping option ;)

Sunset is 8:30ish in the mountains. If we left Cabalas at 2 PM that would give 6 hours to dink around. I am planning to take my daughter (12) and son (10) and stay the night (ground tent) if the weather holds up. If not, we will just boogie down the mountain.

That departure time lets anyone who wants to meet for lunch plenty of time to eat and head to Cabalas.

I don't know AF very well so I will follow someone else's lead on that question.

I may be up for going out on the 9th too. Lets get back from the 2nd and see what the interest level looks like and throw out some ideas on where to go.

I believe the original idea was to keep this one low key and see where everyones comfort level was and get to know each other a bit. That is why I was going to bring the rug-rats with me. If some want to play a little harder, let me know and I can take my kids camping another night. No biggie.

Who is committed to going? Can we get a sign in going? Ideas on the trail?

Of course, I am not taking ANY authority on the meet.... just throwing my 2 cents out there. I'm pretty flexible.

Cabela's it is then. 100 pm or 200 pm would probably be the best time to meet up. I don't think we have to plan the exact route now. We can just decide which way to turn on the trails when we get there. Sounds like AF is where we are going. I can most likely make it to the 2nd or the 9th if I can find someone to cover my morning shift one of those days. I would prefer the 9th since there's this chick that I want to bring and she is busy the 2nd.

elykTacos I will update the op with an attendee list. Thanks

We can always go both days. I can probably only get one day off though so I will only be attending one. Preferably the 9th

I'm still in for the 9th. Going to Farmington peak unless someone objects and wants to go somewhere else.

Not sure, I guess it depends on were we go or what we do when we get up there. What time do you need to be back by.

I'll have to work at 0700 am the next morning so preferably before midnight. How far away is it from the Salt Lake Valley?

Do you work on the 9th? I would like to get on the trail by 10 or 11 get up there have lunch hang out go wheelin. I'm guessing we would be back in Bountiful by at least 5 or 6 (at the very latest).

The trail head is in Bountiful from SLC to Bountiful it's maybe 10-15 minuets.

So on the 9th going up Farmington cyn what are the roads like? Is it hard core wheeling? Or just a nice dirt road drive?

I don't know if I will be into any hardcore flexing out the new truck. I have been there done that when I had a jeep.

For any future rides I know some nice places down west of delta and up by oakley.

This would be a stock friendly trip. A pre runner made the trip last time we went up there.

no its not the sway-bar thats the least of its the actual lift that holds the lower A arm and the rack and pinion thats broken, i need to somehow take it apart and welded and put it back together. it is a little bit of work to do
