Well...I had to get rid of the chrome. I installed my Satoshi grill with the BSP surround, and did the BHLM to go along with it. I used a powdercoated preforated mesh on the grill for those curious. The BHLM was a breeze...I was concerned after reading some of the horror stories on here but had absolutely no problems.

I must say that the overall look is much much cleaner. Next on the list is pinstripe delete! :D

I'm in the process of doing this same thing.
I'm in the same boat with you as the rear bumper too. The good thing about the rear bumper is no one can really see it unless they're behind you. If they're behind you, they can't really tell that the bumper is the only chrome on your truck. So I'll probably just leave my bumper as is unless I get lucky and someone wants to trade.

The grill material is exactly what I'm looking for when I do my Satoshi, do you think you can provide a link to the exact product? It would help out a lot :D

Yea...the good thing is the chrome bumper accents both my nurf bars and rims so it still looks like its part of the puzzle lol...I would still like the BSP bumper though.

Here is a link to the mesh...you can choose to have it powdercoated black

I went with the smaller of the two. Five pieces? The 16x48 sheet is plenty to do the Satoshi mod...and depending on how you cut the mesh you can have enough left over to do the lower bumper opening and the smaller grill pieces by the headlights. I do plan on doing the lower bumper opening at some point in time.
