    Might be able to do it Friday. I just waiting to see if i have to prep for the banquet Saturday. Its suppose to rain so the shit might get cancelled. I have off from my new full time job so there is a good chance.

    I was out in Paoli, PA last week, saw a set of Rockwells for sale. Shame I was driving and coudn't get a picture. Probably a bit ridiculous for a Tacoma though.

    would be nice, how much were they asking?

    The front axle im getting ready to buy is 4700 complete.. just bolt in and go...

    diamond toy housing with 30 spline longs, Toy HP 8" E-locked 3rd and all neceary stuff like brakes etc... what do you think?


    I have to pay half now, and half in about 6 weeks

    I couldn't see the price on the rockwells.

    You say bolt in and go, like you can do the SAS in an afternoon. Those sound good to me. Will they limit how large of a tire you can use with any future power upgrades or such?
    Sounds way cheaper than the first set you looked at.

    well its a toyota 8".. guys run 40s on them, however they are not indestructable. upfront i will be ok, but the rear may have to get upgraded at somepoint since I plan on going to 38" tires

    the big selling feature for me is the ability to run the 8" hi-pinion elocker 3rd member, i mean talk about a slick device! if i were to go 9" up front i would be looking at around 6000 at leaste for the axle

    gotta remember though, im running a 7.5" ifs diff now, this 8" axle will be so much stronger than what i currently have it wont be funny
