RENT A POS CAR AND DRIVE HOME.

RETURN WITH CAR TO PICK UP TRUCK WHEN FIXED.

ALL YOUR DOING NOW IS BLOWING MORE CASH AND STILL NOT FIXING THE ISSUE

 

Eddie.. Rent the cheapest car that can get everyone home and tell Toyota to call you when it's fixed. Call corporate and tell them what happened. Call an attorney and tell him what happened.

I'm not sure why you didn't get a hotel last night after we talked and you said your road side assistance would cover $100 a night and towing.

Seems like you are just trying to make people feel bad for you now.. And we don't shit money and we can't take off whenever we want.. We just do what we have to do.

no hotel becuase cabs wont drive to this area to take me too them. its the great area of de im in....i dont want or need pity.....i just need help.

 

i cant leave car here, i work 6 days a week, and dealerships not open sundays. i wont be able totakeoff work again, likei had to do today, to come back. i have been with new job for less than 2 months....its not an option to return here.

eddie if you have AAA you can have the truck flat bed to the dealer
now you may have to pay something i still dont see why but if you
have to
you can also get a discount on a rent a car

 

rent a pos car from enterprise....leave the truck to get fixed...return the car to an enterprise near you....tell them to lock the set of keys in ur truck...then take your spare key with you...ride your motorcycle there.

throw motorcycle in bed of truck ( there are ways to do this without ramps )
and drive the hell home.

problem solved. minimal money spent

Sorry to jump in on the thread, but last time I checked AAA even if your not a member will come out, and you can instantly become a member and they will tow you home. Not 100% sure, but that's how they used to work.

Scott , newark is not really a bad place at all. Ive taken a cab from newark to nj to get home when i was drunk. Not sure why they wont take him. The is a few hotels within a few miles from where he is. I use to live there plenty of cabs. Its a college town.

 

Just an FYI Toyota is open for business 6 days a week from 7:30am - 6pm.

Never had that issue before even in horrible parts of Camden. I didn't know they put Toyota dealerships in the ghetto? Must be hard to keep the 502 cars they have on their lot safe

BTW there are 6 cab companies located within Newark city limits and all of them service the area of the dealership. Your not in the ghetto - your surrounded by colleges full of white kids taking cabs.

oh and there is a pizza place on the corner and a Pepboys across the street, not to mention the ice hockey rink next door or the US Armed Services Reserve center next door. Sounds a hell of a lot safer then the place I'm sitting right now

at night they wouldn't get me....not sure about daytime...family taxi, yellow cab taxi, always taxi.....

 

He is in the middle of the colleges....Any cab company will grab him. I just looked at their service areas.



I'm done Eddie....your story has more holes then the Titanic. You have no need to tow the truck home. No reason someone can't pick up the truck. I'm sure you could wake up early, be at dealer by 7:30am on Saturday then to work by 10:30am or something similar. Even if your truck sits for a week you have 3 other vehicles.

If you think Toyota is going to cover your truck/trailer rental bill from one dealership to another you are sorely mistaken. No matter how good your lawyer is your eating all that money.
