Mud flaps tore off after about a month, got it's first scratch the first day and first dent within a week. Front brake pads lasted 150k, rears went to just over 200k, replaced all ujoints on rear driveline including the carrier bearing, 2 front wheel bearings (on the same side), 2 shifter cables (dang logs in mudholes), replaced one front lower control arm b/c the bushings were worn out, 1 headlight and 1 windshield from hitting a turkey. Airbag light is on-waiting for the recall to go through on the squib cable to fix that.

Overall the cheapest truck to operate by far that I've ever had at work. If it had better seats and a little better a/c then it would be absolutely perfect!

I've got 109K on my truck, shes been towing boats all her life. Currently, tow my center console(around 5000lbs loaded) 360 miles to the ocean and back every few weeks to do some fishing.

DragR1-How often do you tow and how much? I'm hoping my transmission can make it another 100K.

I tow a fair amount-but usually nothing like that big boat! I have drained and filled my transmission fluid one time -at 150k miles. I have never flushed the fluid.

dragr1 - Thanks for the reply, just wondering how tough these transmissions are in the long haul. I plan on keeping this truck until the engine or transmission goes...hopefully that doesn't happen for a long time!!! It's been a fantastic truck for the last 7 years.

stowayman - I plan on changing my trans fluid @ 120K, it's what my maintenance book recommends.
