Anyone got the scoop on mtb trails in Tusla area? I've heard good things about Turkey Mtn for years......
I'm dropping a fam member at aeroport on Saturday and wanted a trail ride possibly. I like techy stuff, but fast singlrtrack is hard to beat as well.
any scoop is much appreciated, ciao

I run on the Turkey Mountain Trails twice a week. For bikes it's REALLY good, but you have to remember that I'm from FL and down there we have NOTHING like Tky Mntn. It is pretty technical alright, and based on what I've seen a dual suspension MTB is a necessity.

Bring LOTS of fluid, the only thing available is a dinky water fountain in the parking lot!

I'm up for a trip out to Little Sahara sometime in July . I have vacation time that I'm going to take in July, may be going to Colorado for some camping and trail riding at some point, but would love to do some dune riding too.

I've been riding the trails south of the Pensacola Dam in the Disney/Langley area so far and I'm looking for something a little different.

Pretty much stole my ideas haha. I'd really recommend the Air and Space museum, if I remember correctly its pretty cheap and they've got some pretty cool stuff. Also the Zoo is right next to it too.

The F-14 is one of my favorite aircraft of all time, so I'd say it's worth it just to get a look at that thing. They have a lot besides that though, Tulsa has a pretty rich aerospace history actually. The aquarium is alright, I believe we have the largest bull sharks in captivity in the world, which is pretty cool. The shark tunnel is really well done too.

so, the aquarium was just meh...nothing too special, but after going to the monterey bay aquarium in california, haven't had one impress me since. went and checked out the Philbrook Museum and Gardens. that was pretty cool. an art museum that is housed in some dead rich guy's mansion. the gardens were better IMO, because they had a scavenger hunt for you to do while wandering around.

i put my jeep in the garage, and took my tacoma to the sheriton next to home depo over off of sooner, parked it there once the storm sirens started going off, got the last spot in the garage, pretty much blocked everyone in... some douche canoe who was stayin in the hotel was all pissed that he couldnt get his car in the garage and he payed... so i called the police... nobody else wanted to get hail damage so nobody else moved either.... we waited around for the cops to show up then we left...

now i know i was in the wrong, but i paid to much for my truck to let oklahoma weather fuck it up. haha.

but no hail at all in midwest city, so i lucked out... we'll see how it goes tonight... that guy on channel 4 freaks me out, he gets way too excited. i thought it was going to rain grape fruit last night... haha.
