    I went to Halcon Communications in downey for my setup. They sell everything to do with cb radios and they are one the few stores that still deal only with cb's. Talk to Adriana she knows her shit and is very friendly. They can also tweak any radio to output more than what it can from the factory for $25.

    Wal-Mart in Foothill Ranch has the Cobra 19 that I got. Works well...pretty cheap. Just head down to the auto section along the back wall by the head units and stereo equip.

    OK gang...

    So I took our entire route after work tonight to catch the sunset from the top (beautiful view as always), and I tried to keep in mind that we're going to have that many trucks up there at once...My conclusions?

    IT'S A LOGISTICAL NIGHTMARE.

    We're going to need everybody's cooperation in order to safely make it up and down the mountain without mishap. Some parts of the road even BEFORE we get on dirt are VERY narrow, and windy with blind corners and just enough room for one truck at a time. We'll be up there on Sunday, so there will be heavy foot and dirtbike traffic, as well as others just like us who want to take their truck out for a drive. I'd like to know who has a CB Radio, or anticipates having one by Sunday, so that way we know how many groups we can make. It's as easy as putting "CB" next to your name on the list. I'll start.

    I guess that would work, but it's a temporary solution. Radio Shack at the Laguna Hills mall has radios in stock, as well as antennas and springs/mounts. Give them a call, see what they got, and tell them to hold onto it for you until you can make it there. Really helpful staff there.

    They have different models, but I'd call them to find out. When I was there 2 weeks ago, they had the Cobras for like $30 and the handhelds for $140 and a few things in between.

    I have an extra handheld cb radio cobra 38wxst. Not sure how good the signal is with the original antenna tho.. I can lend it to someone just bring batteries for it. And if you like it you can have it for only $30 lol

    Just got my CB today, at radioshack in the laguna hills mall, the guy said that they have 2 left. they are the $49.99 radioshack ones. I got one of those and an antenna for ~$90.
