    They have to do whatever you want... just do not sign anything till you talk to the shop agent in charge of your claim. They cannot just force the factory bumper on you. You are a customer of the repair shop... the insurance company is not their customer. They cannot authorize repairs for you.

    No it does not... you have to authorize repairs. Demand your bumper. Tell them to pull your factory bumper. If you already signed off on your repair you are screwed, but if not just threaten a lawsuit. Also why is this on your insurance? What is on your accident report? What is your fsgi case status?
