Don't feel bad, i'm not welcome either. No problem though. I'd have no interest in joining any club with "You have to meet our standards to be as cool as us" rules, even if I had a 4x4.

This is my buddy Jon's jeep...maybe. If not, it looks eerily similar. Also It looks like they're at or somewhere near Morris Mountain ORV.

    Count me in.

thanks! I'm debating on a few items i want...i still want the snorkel but have to get a new intake box:( so i think I'm going to get a bed rack fab'd up for future top tent, jerry cans, hi-lift mount, and 360 degrees of lighting. i also want to draw up some rear bumpers, hood armor similar to this....http://www.f150online.com/forums/me...cture142733-user85389-pic2099-1218198588.html
if the link doesn't work go to google images and type in impact9....is a bad ass f150.
EDIT: found his website right after i posted it...go figure.

xoduece, I see you plan to attend the RockShow June 9th at GAP with TLCA... If you need a shower or a couch, I've got you covered.

There's another guy that's not 18 that hangs out and all. It's really an insurance thing with the liability coverage we have. You'll just need a waiver or something signed by your parent / guardian as I understand it. This only applies to official membership and TLCA sponsored events. As for anything else, their event rules apply. So if you wanted to go out to GAP, you'd need whatever waiver they require to get in. If your parent / guardian joins DLC, they can basically be your proxy as a voting member, so that's another option. I know it's a headache, but this is really pretty common in motorsport oriented clubs. It's all CYA from a liability insurance perspective.

Dave, you're more than welcome. Since we're a TLCA affiliated club, in order for a member to be a TLCA member as well, then they've gotta go through TLCA's rules and all. Associate members who are interested in wheeling, shooting the bull, drinking a beer or two, or just hanging out with fellow Toyota enthusiasts are all welcome.

Happy to! There are a couple other guys down in the Montgomery area who are members as well. We're working on a schedule for monthly and quarterly meetings to figure out how best to include folks from outside the Birmingham metro area. It's looking like monthly it's going to be the second Wednesday of the month, then quarterly we'll do a Saturday grill / bbq meet. Keep an eye on the forum over at mud for details.

Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to pass. I prefer the local meets we have where we all just hang out, wheel, and have fun with no rules or restrictions.
