Cool, been there done that and it sucked ass. But I've had a great career and always recommend nursing. Grad school was much easier than undergrad since I had several years experience. Working in a door factory during nursing school didnt exactly facilitate learning about healthcare.

ok, so I am debating getting a new set of rims, not wanting to spend an assload of money. I have found a few in my price range, ie $200ish. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Complete wheelset? or going for lighter stronger rims with current hubs?
Oh also, how big are you and riding style?

What is your set up now & what brakes are you running.
    Looking for lightweight or strength?
Type of riding and typical terrain?

yeah, sorry. I have a trek fuel ex6 full squish, stock rims, hayes stroker trail brakes. Looking for middle of the road, weight not being an issue, strength of rims being more important. I am 5'8 178ish.Majority trail, no downhill or freeride.

Well, that sucks.... I have some wheels I need to get rid of, but they are 20mm front.

Hit up MTBR and check the "deals" section to see what you can find.

These would be pretty high on my list right now, if you can rock gold:
    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=63316

These would probably be at the top of the list for a budget Q/R wheelset, but they wont be too light:

    http://www.bicyclewheelwarehouse.com/mountain/clearance/clearance-sos/prod_193.html

If I could decide on a replacement for the stock wheels on my wife's bike, I would offer those up, but she would kill me if I didnt have a replacement in hand...

186000mps i tried out a rack like yours. it could probably fit 5 or 6 bikes total. not bad considering all i payed for was the carpet since i already had some wood.

Right now only the front tires touch, but no spinning, so I'm not too worried about the paint. I left my verticals a little proud of the horizontal just to make sure nothing slid too much. Rack looks good.

Picked this up on e-bay yesterday, basically brand new, less than half of the list price by a lot! The guy said he got last fall, and rode it once. Developed knee problems over the winter and can't ride anymore. 2011 Specialized Hardrock 29er.
