well its been getting worse..My truck pulsates when on the slow down. Feels like its comming from the rear, and it only does it while slowing down from anything under 50..Not bad, but its there. Sound like its time for the drums to be cut? I havent even looked at them in years, so it may even be time for some new shoes:confused:

    Any Ideas?

drums and rear shoes are a good possibility, but the front rotors may also be warped...or one of them anyway. may need to have the fronts turned.

i checked it out at work today..rears are fine, just had to adjust them out a bit. Looked at the driveshaft bearing(carrier bearing) and it looks like its shot. Is this a simple job?

it shouldnt be too bad,......and i say shouldnt be. hardest part probably will be breaking the bolts loose for the drive shaft.

tom woods.......but i think they are somewhere in the neighborhood of $250 to $300 or so. they are worth it though.......seeing as how highly people talk of them and how smooth they are.

they all have a little movement. spray some silicone spray into the bearing......see if the shaft spins a little better. you can also adjust it front to back...make sure its even.

If your not lifted or ganna lift I would get one. Just get a new Carrier Bearing and you should be good.

It ran me about 260-70 I think...cant really remember off the top of my head. But man is it smooth!!:)
