Go to Walmart, buy a $5 roll up blue sleeping bag pad that they sell for camping. Cut it in half lengthwise and it will cover enough of the tailgate for 2-3 bikes. I have been doing this lately because when I am hauling my own bike it's real quick to just throw one of the pieces over the tailgate. If I have some buddies going, I use both pieces...

Nice to see another flat pedal rider. I'm seeing more people come back to flats lately it seems. I switched back to flats and will never put my clipless pedals back on. I put a set of Kona Wah-Wah pedals on my bike and wear Five Ten Sam Hill impact shoes with stealth rubber and it's the best feeling set up I have had. I love clipless on my road bike, but in the woods it's flats all the way

There are lots of flat pedal riders... Pics on previous post. Wellgo B103 pedals on my bike, b131's on the wifes.

Both came in under listed weight, and grip well with 5.10s.

Kept some CB Candy's and Answer shoes for a couple years, but those are long gone now.

I've had bikes my whole life, still have 3 other ones, all in rideable condition. This is is the first one with a suspension though. I like it, it's very different from any of the other ones. Ive got it covered now, I think. An old Schwinn Super Sport road bike that I've had since 1971, and old Trek mountain bike I got in around 1995, a new Jamis Coda Comp hybrid, and now the 29er. Wife is starting to wonder why I have so many bikes.

What about just adding another patch of carpet. :D

But seriously, have the soft side on the paint and drape it over the gate. Then attach it to the rack so you can just flip it over when you need it.

I would avoid the X9 hubs, based on the reviews I have seen. YMMV, of course...

Any experience with different systems, or just a generic post?

I thought the same until I found a system that worked. Then, its fantastic.

I still have both tubeless and tubes, depending on the bike - Wheels and tires make a pretty big difference...

That's just Robby trying to be funny, or wanting some attention.

Tubeless FTW! Canada, I think those look like a solid setup and should be near bombproof but definitely on the heavy side.

Ive got a beat old Corsaro Mountaineer.
No info on it anywhere on Google.

Been wanting to change the gear shifters from the ratchet style to the "normal" ones.
    Any suggestions for shifters <30.

I've got these on my rebuilt beater bike and they work just as well as my X9's on my other bike. I think they may come in other Speeds as well.
