    Annie used to chase Ollie to thief the ball - Ollie would just drop it for her. Eventually would just chase her own ball.

    Now she won't chase a ball or frisbee at all :pout: Zoie won't chase a ball either... or should I say she will chase one, sniff it and walk away :rolleyes: silly RETRIEVER

    My old Shepherd, Shadow, did that.

    She played one day until her feet were bloody and raw. We'd play ball in the road - it was a side street with very little traffic and she knew "get in the yard" and would wait until the car was gone to go back into the street. Didn't realize she'd hurt herself until the next day when she wouldn't move :( and was seeing bloody paw prints on the floor
