Door ajar light stays on but dims when all doors shut?

Hello i have a 2006 tacoma jus noticed yestirday my door ajar light stayed on when i shut my door,(it is not as bright as when the door is actually open) checked all door sensors they seem to be fine ,any ideas guys? It may be a wire somewhere grounding out but just checking if anyone else has had this problem,thx

 

How long did you wait? I think it's 15minutes before they go off if left on unintentionally.

 

I'm thinking he meant the door open warning light on the dash stays on but it's dim.

Wondering if it's grounded.

 

Either a ground or a defective door switch.

 

I forgot to add my compustar alarm was going nuts non stop goin off had to snipwire to horn and yank out power to main brain so the alarm could have been the problem cause i took it into stereo shop nxt day and door light is off now(gauge light no dome lights were on only overhead view of vehicle with doors opn) but it still could be a door ajar sensor goin out or ground but its fine for now i guesss... The stereo place said it was cause my alarm must have got put into a wierd mode because i must have pressed a button and my screen is cracked on my two way pager and i cant see the screen, but thx for ur guys input ill post up again if the problem ever comes bak
