That all depends on the bank.

Also depends on the credit card.

I use and have had a Citi Simplicity account since 2001 with a locked in 4.9% APR. I know no other card that offers such good insurance against fraud with that low of a fiance charge. My CC account has been hacked once and I have disputed numerous claims over the years. Each time Citi came through for me...the last dispute was a couple months ago with Autoanything.

1/2 of Americans are tarded and just about everyone who get's ripped off on TW does things incorrectly so my statements are all encompassing for the derps.

Linking anything to your bank account is stupid IMO. Why would you want that info out there if it doesn't need to be?

    What did I lie about?

Once money is out of your bank account paypal won't do squat and neither will your bank. Paypal may eventually get your money back ONLY if they can get it out of the account they sent it to. If the money is already removed your screwed.

A credit card will not pay Paypal if there is an issue and you don't pay the credit card company....how is this not better? You never pay....where the opther way your money is gone and your fighting to get it back. Seems like any logical person would link their paypal to a CC. I see no benefit of doing it any other way.

If your to cheap to pay 3% anbd protect yourself then maybe you should get ripped off :notsure:

I have a Wells Fargo account so I can add to my IRA. That was the only reason I opened the checking account. I also use this account as my slush fund for projects, mainly Moab time. Mind you, the nearest Wells Fargo to me is in Mt. Carmel (30 minutes North of RC). It's one of those institutions that accesses a fee if you don't use their ATM...which as I said the closest one is 2 hours away.

Anyway, their fraud department is a little nuts. They shut my card off when I withdrew $300 for Moab...in my home town. I called them up and asked what gives. I had to give them my Checking Account # to verify my identity before they would even discuss it. Mind you I'm in Moab at this point and have no clue what the number is. I don't keep that stuff written down and it is displayed like XXXXXXX1234 when you log in to the website. So they said that's ok, we can do it by last the withdraw and deposit. I'm logged in to my account and read them off for the guy. He then explains what happened and starts saying that someone tried withdrawing money from several different states in the last 24 hours.

I said I know because it was me fuckstick. Unlock my shit now.

He tried getting more info from me like where I was, how long I was going to be there, when I was returning blah blah blah.

I understand the need for security but it was a little excessive. He said they called me but if they didn't leave a message, I would have written it off as not that important and disregarded the missed call.

PayPal will screw you any way they can. They offer no protection even if
You use the regular method to send money.

If transaction is outside 45 days PayPal can do nothing for you it's in their policy even if you haven't exited your item.
If seller takes money out of paypal how the eff can PayPal get your money back? They can't
Do not use your bank account other than to transfer money from PayPal into your bank account.

Always always use your credit card

Oh and even if you are a straight up seller and send a perfect item to a buyer and they break it they can claim it was broken in shipping as some one did to me
    PayPal took their side WTF.
Also if a buyer declines insurance and it's broken in shipping still your fault as paypal a policy is its the sellers responsibility to get said item to buyer in correct condition.

Fuck PayPal if you can't tell I have been fucked over more than once by Paypal as a buyer for $1500 and as a seller for $450.

And don't even get me started on UPS an FedEx insurance policies holly shit.

45 days is a reasonable period, and i've also been screwd as a seller, i honestly only trust them when i'm a buyer
