    Shit keeps piling up so itll be interesting on how it'll turn out. I need a new passenger side leaf pack now too. Trying to decide if I just want to say fuck it and get all pro expo packs and relocate my hangers as well as shocks.


    I know for sure ill be modding my fenders and tubbing the fire wall. Thinking about boxing the frame now too while I have the bed off...

    Either way. Money is the biggest factor now so ya. We shall see

    There's a few of us with them. haha. I have 33.1x10.1's (255/85R16), Ben has 31.7x9.25's (235/85R16) and then there is n0rth. His tires are spec'd at 36x12.5R16, but the tread pattern measures about 9.6" wide.

    Not only are Ben's the skinniest, but they really show it too. My 255's look normal next to his.

    Brady, I am very curious what your tires actually measure when mounted and on the truck. Do you have an actual measurement from the top of the tire to the ground at street pressure? I'm guessing its ~32-32.5"

    EDIT: They measured 33 almost exactly. haha. I have them at 40 or 50 psi, I can't remember which. I was expecting a little shorter like you were Mike. I read an article somewhere when I was looking into tires and a guy bought some KM2's that were 35Xsomething and he claimed that after they were installed they only measured like 32 tall, made me a little worried at first but it seemed to be isolated so I'd guess he needs to have someone else measure them for him. haha:rolleyes:

    Also the tread was just shy of 7" wide while the full width was about 10.25".

    Oh yeah, since you are here Mike. That noise I was telling you about is definitely my diff. When I bump it into neutral while coasting, the noise instantly disappears and then reappears when I put it back in gear.

    And that is on an 8" wide rim, correct?

    Edit: Here is what the TW tire size calculator shows for our tires. Unfortunately, when new and on the truck, mine measured 31.5" :( That is why I asked about yours. I may go that size with my next set.

    Yep. That is what the rim is listed as anyway.

    Edit: For my next set I want to go to a skinny 35 or 36 like n0rth has:D If I had known those existed before I bought these I would have gone that route in the first place. At the time I quit looking when I couldn't find anything above a 33 that wasn't 12+" wide. Even at max width his tires aren't much wider than my 255. I have no idea why they rated them as 12.5's, they aren't even close to that.

    oh yeah? That is what Mike told me to try cuz it takes the load off of the diff. The noise sounds like a brake shoe is rubbing on the drum, but I have checked all the brakes and it's not them and I am pretty sure it is coming from the Rear of the vehicle. Another thing I have noticed, is when I am on the throttle (not hard or anything, just in general) it will make that noise, then when I let off the noise will stop for a second and start again about the time the engine braking occurs ie load on the diff again, but I would imagine that also means load on the tranny too...

    What does Adam think?:D You and Ben heard the noise.
