I installed mine a couple of months ago ( I was in one of the first shipments). And I am happy to say they are still working wonderfully, seeing almost daily use and abuse by my young children in the extended cab. Thanks again!

I installed my last week - easy peasy to install and they work very smoothly. The Youtube video was a great help!

I recently just bought a 04 with a latch broke, the guy I bought it from actually had a completely brand new latch setup to install just never did. I was glad when I found this to know I could just pop those pins out and use the new plastic wishbone. If mine breaks I know where I am buying my replacements!

Good product defiantly snug fit! Used some wd40 on the second latch, should have used it on the first one. super stoked that I won't have to be replacing these.

Hey guys, I created a Ecrater site to purchase these. If you dont use eBay/PayPal then this is the best alternative.
    http://dasherdeals.ecrater.com

Enter the code "tacopivot" during checkout for free shipping!!

    Thanks again guys!!

Its designed to replace the broken plastic pivot on rear side windows on ex-cabs. Not the sliding rear window.

    Question:

When you first launched you had a blurb written on your ebay page that said something to the effect of, "once I get feedback I will make any changes that need to be made."

Have you gotten any other feedback (other than, "holy crap this is awesome!") that makes you believe you'll make changes to the design?

I've had a few people report they were a little too tight. I haven't decided to make any changes, as the majority fit perfectly. I believe the pin tolerances are a little different from truck to truck. Too tight is easily fixed by drilling. If I make the holes bigger, most people will find them too loose.

Good call on keeping them as-is. They may have gotten a set that was out of tolerance in that production run. Plus, like you said, easy to fix.

I tried doing this and ran into a few stumbling blocks. I first tried it using Firefox as my (normal) browser, after entering all the pertinent data, I clicked on the 'approve' button, the screen went blank and hung there. I tried three times, with the same result. I then tried using Windows Internet Explorer. This worked better, allowing me to actually place the order, but there was no place in the process to enter the code 'tacopivot', so I ended up paying the $1.95 for shipping. No big deal, just a bit frustrating...

Yea, there are some kinks on that site that I have yet to work out. Its easier to order on Amazon or eBay honestly.
However, I saw your order request, and I adjusted it to only charge you $20 instead of $20+ shipping

    Thanks for the input!

If you order on the ecrater site, just let me know here after you order, and I'll charge only $20 to the card.
eBay and Amazon are different, and I cant give discount codes there.
