    Anyone have any tips/tricks on pulley install? :D

    I'm actually being serious. I'm getting ready to swap out the three idlers and the tensioner. My truck is wailing like a banshee and my belt looks like a wolverine attacked it.

    I do have loctite for the bolts

    and brake cleaner for the other pulleys

    TAKE TENSION OFF OF PULLEYS UM 14MM I THINK IT WAS AND UNSCREW.....YOU CAN PULL THE BACKING OFF THE 2 #2 PULLEYS AND REGREASE THEM AND SNAP THE COVER BACK ON...OTHER THEN THAT ITS A 20 MIN JOB FOR ALL 3

    I figured as much, but I'm also doing tension pulley. Well not the tensioner itself - just the pulley attached to it. I read like 20 threads a couple weeks back when I was ordering the stuff. Just downing a coffee and eating a tomato before I tackle it. I'm keeping all the old stuff for spares and Ill be sure to clean/grease them all up.

    it's not the chain, but the people who work within. everyone hates Firestone, but the shop by me is good. the same guy always does mine because I schedule it when he is available. if he ever leaves I'm screwed, or Illl follow him :spy:

    Well, got to do a good deed today... was in wharton to go kayaking... found one of those fans with a trailer attached for other kaykers very stuck.. his back tires weren't even touching the ground and he was on his trailer hitch.. tried pulling him out from the front was a no go, but swung around and pull him out from his trailer. :D

I was thinking maybe the Hooters again, you know something with some parking lot to hang out in, I doubt he will want to do anything in the woods, his truck is pretty right now.....

    Yeah buddy it sounds like you got hosed. I would want a refund and that tie rod replace. My alignment isn't right either, but I have some UCAs on order and when I take it back for the alignment I am going to tell them up front I want a print out with numbers.

    I just relized you live in Downingtown a friends dad owns the Aston Gulf in Aston.He's a great mechanic but I am not sure if he has an alignment rack. I can see if he recommends anybody in the area if not everyone says Dave is good.:)
