looking forward to doing this mod, i just ordered up 2 dei 530T's from ebay for 39.50 shipped! I also have one tr-7 laying around so i'll do the up on the key and then get another one for the down function. Looking forward to doing this sometime during the week. I plan on hooking it all up with insulated quick connectors to make it a little easier as well

Damn!! Nice find on the 2 530T's for that price. Good luck with the modding. It's alot easier than it looks.

Dude, that's the price for one -_-.

Damn! I should probably keep on the lookout for these if I ever plan on doing this mod. $80 for just these modules kinda puts this mod dead in the water for me...

I have a DC if you wanted to give it a go... how long would it take and how much would it cost me?

Where do you live? You would need two 530T modules (1 for front windows and 1 for rear windows) and two TR7 modules for the auto key fob feature. You might be able to find them cheaper than what I paid but if not it will be about $150 for the parts and not much more to install.

I live in Pensacola, FL about 4 hrs away.

Would I need 1 per window plus the 2 for the driver window if I wanted each window to have this feature?

Does the remote up and down work with stock remote?

I read that you only need one 530T for the two front windows to have the auto up/down feature from the driver master switch. But you have to run I think two wires from the driver door to the passenger door for the passenger switch to have the auto up/down feature as well. If you don't run the wires then the passenger switch will function as it would stock.

Yes the key fob auto up/down works with the stock key fob...that's how I had mine set up. If you have a viper or similar alarm then all you need is the 530T modules for the auto windows as they will be controlled by the alarm.

FINALLY got around to doing this, your write up definitely made it easier than if I had tried to figure all this out myself. I also tied it into my Clifford alarm system so I can roll up/down or vent the windows with my key fob. I love having one touch on all the windows up and down, so much nicer than the stock driver side down only! I would definitely recommend this mod, especially if you have an aftermarket alarm! The only thing I did different after reading some of the comments was put the module in the drivers side kick panel instead of in the door, but pulling the wires through into the door was NOT fun.. don't know that it was worth the hassle. Great write up, helped me for sure, if anyone is considering this mod, go for it!

Ill try and take a video later today and see if I can upload it. I had a little trouble getting the resistance settings on the 530t set right, the drivers side window kept rolling down about 5 inches then stopping, but it's working well now, so far it is great!

Nice write up! I think I'm going to do this on my Tacoma. I forget the last vehicle I owned that didn't have auto up/down on all windows at least from the driver's side switches. Looks like for somewhere around $40 and minimal effort (I don't think I need to wire the passenger side) I can make my window switches operate the way I want to. As for doing the remote mod I think I'll hold off as I plan to do a full alarm/remote start system so I'll have the installer tie that into his install for less effort on my end. This appears pretty easy and is something I want one my truck asap so I may just order the module and go for it.

I have a double cab and wired it like you have yours but it did not work. Does anyone happen to know which wires are which on a double cab or how to find out which wires control what?

Ok, it looks like all the wires are correct, but the 12v ACC. wire and all others when switched only get a little less than 3v. Is that normal?

Got it working, I don't know what was wrong with it the first time around but it's working now. All the wire colors are the same for the Double Cab, they are just in different areas. I don't know if it was the problem(I don't think it would effect it) but the second time I didn't connect the Drivers Down because it already has that ability.
