Durango's ST truck, I'm glad they didn't use a Cab Forward body as the stock body

I Love R/C cars, truck, whatever, but it's been a long time since I've owned one, in fact, my last R/C truck was made by Tyco, Remember them. Well I'm interested in getting one but not sure which. Should I go with Electric or Nitro? I like the Traxxas Slayer, would this be a car I want to start out with? You experience would be helpful. Thnx

I hate the cab forward anything bodies. Looks like you stepped on the brakes real hard and the body slid to the front.

All depends on what you want to do with the model, race on a track, or bash at the baseball field/park.

honestly the Slayer is junk. If you want a Nitro Stadium truck go with AE's SC10GT

My first Nitro R/C was a T-Maxx and I still have it. I would definitely recommend the T-Maxx or Revo.

My first nitro truck was a T-Maxx and it was great. Easy enough to work on that I learned a lot but not so complex that it was hard to maintain.

In fact, I have a T-Maxx that I'm selling. It's older but still runs just fine. $150 for the truck and radio if you're interested. Would be a good intro into nitro and if you break it, so what?

    Just a thought.

It's only 50 miles from me. Planning on going Friday for practice, and back on Sunday for the mains.

Sweet take some pictures, I'll follow the race on LiveRC

I've spent most of my money on my new camera and on the engagement ring mod
