Not planning on selling them but even if I was I can't get the damned things to come loose! I think I might browse for another screw driver that has a larger handle, cause I am using the snuggest fitting phillips head I got but it's to no avail.

or I might pick up some of that liquid wrench stuff as mentioned!

Yea, mine came off without a problem when I lined my bed. Maybe a little
wd40 and a long handled philips head?

I think my problem is that the truck bed has been lined for the past 7 years and in that time the liner may have bonded or adhered to the tie downs, even though the tie downs were never lined and screwed back in after it was lined.

I took a mirror between the bed and cab and was able to see the ends of the bolts were a little rusty looking so that also might be an issue.

I couldn't find one of the long tube things for the wd-40 to get back in that tiny spot where the bolts are between cab and bed, so I went on a longshot and tried some silicon spray to no avail.

I might go to walmart or wherever to see if i can find that liquid wrench stuff or a lone wd-40 tube laying on the floor lol.

Get some PB Blaster. Use a dental pick to pull away any bed liner around/under the edge of the screw heads, spray the PB in there, let soak overnight. Also try smacking it with a hammer to fracture the rust/corrosion bond a bit. Also, do you have an impact driver? Use that with an appropriate size big Phillips bit. Lean into it. Less chance of cam-out with impact.

I'm not even sure anymore, every time I tell my dad about somebody wanting to buy it he comes up with somwthing else that needs to be done.
My reason for selling it is because it wasn't reliable for my future plans, so I bought a newer truck. If we sale the tacoma, my new truck will be 99% payed off.

Mounted the can mounts onto the toolbox using 3/8" diameter bolts with plates on the inside for reinforcement

I'll take photos tomorrow of the interior and without the cans on the mounts
