Dollars to donuts say those are Mickey Thompson Classic Lock II, Read; fake bead lock. I still like em though. I prefer 16" wheels though

I'd tell that insurance company "Fine, but I'm dropping you after this claim for making me step foot on Rusty Eck's property".

I say we all bring a gun or two and shoot some shit.

Very good choice for a 2nd opinion- autocraft is where I'll be taking my tacoma as well, that's the most honest auto business in wichita. I had a guy sideswipe my jetta back in 08 and I took it to autocraft. His insurance was paying them $500 to fix my fender. They called and said it actually buffed out, and instead of pocketing the $500 for a 10-min buff job, asked if I wanted to apply the money to repaint my trunk (it was peeling from the sun). Needless to say I was impressed.

I have had good luck with Auto Works Collision on West Central at the Big Ditch too, very thorough and easy to deal with. Just another option, I know most are pretty busy right now, the good ones anyway.

Does it come with a years supply of HJ's?

Not real surprisingly from those gypsies thieves anyway...I would never buy a vehicle from them. Don't even like getting my oil filters there, pick em up in Hutch when I'm there. Midwest Toyota is one of the best Toyota dealers in the entire region if not country.

Ha! I see you and I have an entirely different opinion about those 2 dealerships. I bought the truck from midwest and it was like pulling teeth. I'll never return. I get all my service done at Eddy's and have never had a complaint. But to each their own. I posted a pic of the over priced AC in TW live. It was one of those Baja editions. Can't really blame the dealership for the MSRP price unless they don't budge from it like Midwest did to me until I showed them the same damn truck at Conklin for 3K less. My point of the post though was more of a shock as in "What the hell is Toyota thinking pricing a truck this high?".

Maybe it's different once the warranty/free service is up. No dealership will see my truck once I turn over 25k which will be in a few weeks. Had a nail pulled and repaired today. Used the Ford triple care insurance I purchased through Midwest (I admit that's a nice option though them). Service rep did good by me. Took care of the claim and all the hassle asked if I have any other issues. Told him about the cold weather no start problem I had over the winter and said "Yep there's a TSB for that". Gonna get it taken care of soon. Maybe I'm just lucky and get all the nice folks.

Shit you may be right. But hey, whatever works. Oddly enough I did have my shaved chest hanging out of my leather vest today. I call it my Tacoma service day vest.
