So something not related to my Taco, Where the hell is Chris? Has he even been on here in the last several days? I think that is half of the reason why the thread has become dull, a lack of Chris!

 

Sorry to say this Brady......but yes that does sound like a bearing. If a new install kit was not used I would bet it is the pinion bearing and that after being pressed off the old one and onto the new one and reusing the crush sleeve, that is the problem...... just a huntch though.


and if you want to get into something interesting, we could talk about the new BIGFOOT video that was taken up in the Mink Creek area! LOL

 

I see. I'll have to talk to the guy who replaced it, if he used a new one or not.

oh yeah? link to the vid? ISU has an anatomy teacher, Jeff Meldrum(brilliant guy actually) who is one of the foremost Bigfoot experts in the world. He is actually in most of the Bigfoot documentaries you see on the Discovery Channel and such. I'll bet he is all over this. haha

 

sure as shit, which is a polite way of saying 99.99%. Yota thirds are notoriously difficult to set up and require some expensive specialized tools and knowledge to put together. So I buy that, just unbolt my diff, put that one in and put my e-locker on it and send my old one back, that simple? I wouldn't have to play with the pinion angle or anything?

is set at 85ft/lbs i think it was just their time. good thing i was only going 15 mph in my neighborhood

 

the wheel shot off down the road pretty quick and got stuck in a bush! I'm glad it didn't go off the cliff! that would have sucked

 

any damage to the brake disc or the LCA?

edit: are all the lug nuts gone???????????

 

You didn't tell me about the cliff. haha It would have been epic if you had a go pro and it caught the wheel rolling down the road

 

the total damage is, studs, rotor, splashguard, wheel is beat to hell on the inside, LBJ bolt got ground down some, and it tagged the side of the fender. I'm guessing about 400 bucks in damage.

Lesson? What lesson is there is this? haha A "random" noise appeared and thanks to username showing me that ECGS has preassembled gear carriers, means that that random noise may turn into a reward. Granted the wallet will take a slight hit, but that's doable.

Unless that noise turns out to be completely unrelated to anything in the gear carrier then no reward

 

so i make this awesome fucking kebab, and right as i finish grilling it and put it on the plate my fucking dog jumps, up, grabs it and devours it right is front of my face. I am so full of rage I grill this awesome thing then i dont get it because my dog is a massive selfish pile of shit.
