I have a 09 access cab i bought last week. I was wantin to get some seat covers so i can keep the seats clean but i have the side air bags. Will that cause any problems? Which would be the best for a Grey interior. Also do weathertechs make floor mats for the back of a access cab. i couldnt find any? Thanks for any help you can give me. I am a newbie in need of advice.

You need to get seat covers that are AIRBAG COMPATIBLE.

If you don't, then the side airbags won't work properly.

Tyler I'm about to be in the same boat...supposed to be getting my 09 double cab tomorrow. I looked at the Okole site. They look good. I read in another thread that if you call you can request the TRD logo on the covers. Let me know how it goes for you.

There are rear floor liners available from Weather Tech for access cabs. I just ordered some for my access cab and they fit great. I ordered the gray rather than black and I think the colour matches really well but it's all preference whether you'd rather have a darker floor liner.

I bought cheap suede like seat covers. Whats the point of spending money on expensive ones? Cheap seat covers save your seats, and thats what I was going for. They look okay, but if i got in an accident, they would prevent the airbags from deploying. I dont plan on, or hope to not get in that kind of an accident. I did buy weathertechs floorliners and they keep the carpet looking like new and they do make them for access cabs. Just depends on what you are going for, If you are going for looks with seat covers, dont cover em. if you are trying to keep your new truck looking llike new, any seat covers will do.

Don't know about Tyler, but I need something waterproof. I also want my side airbags to work. If I can find something with those 2 features for cheap I'd be all over it, but I don't think it's possible.

    Probably not possible.
I've got the Toyota Seat Covers. They run too expensive for seat covers but they fit like a wet suit for your seats.
Are def waterproof and they are made for the Taco so it will work with the side bags. i've got an access cab so you can find the perfect fit.

    Downsides?
    They are expensive
They are a pain to install
They are waterproof, after an adrenaline packed ride, you will have a wet ass and back.

As for the carpet mats, just get something rubber. They are going to get covered with mud!

    ^ that looks awesome!

Beyond improving the look like the pictures above, why cover your seats? Are you hoping to retain your resale value? Do you want to protect from stains?

If you have the TRD, the seat material is pretty nice stock. If you stain a seat cover, are you going to replace it or just live with it? If you spent $500 for wet okoles...you will probably just live with it.

I like the other route...run with stock seats and get covers if you have a serious stain that needs covered up.

That's exactly how I want mine to look. Are those the standard cover with Gray on the inner part? Did you call them to get the TRD logo or were you a part of that group buy I saw something about?

Got mine to protect against mud and whatever else might be out there.
And I've got the tan interior, mine kind of black out the interior. I've got a black truck.

You gotta call and ask for the TRD logo.

I bought my truck new and at about 8,000 miles the drivers seat started developing a worn spot. So I talked to the service guys at the local toyota. They had never seen a worn spot where my truck had one. I mentioned that I was thinking of getting seat covers anyway, so they gave me a set of the Toyota TRD covers for free. I didn't like them, so sold them and bought these. Wet Okole are 100 times better! The Toyota service guys also agree these are way better than the Toyota covers...

I hunt and shoot competitive archery alot, also hike, bike, fish, whatever outdoors. So at some point I will be getting in the truck mud/rain soaked. These are water proof.

Here is a link showing more toyota logos. The wet okole site didn't show many when I bought mine.

Also, I took my front seats out to install the covers...WAY easier! And I folded the flap on the back of the seats up so the wet okole flap would lay flat...somebody made a drawering of it in this thread:

Wet Okole covers are really nice! I had a set in my 04 tacoma and loved them. Don't have em in my 07 since it would cost more then I would like to spend for the front and back.

I'm so glad mine doesn't have side airbags. You should still have the option like before to get them or not.

I have a set of clothe covers from RuffTuff.com.

Personally, I hate neoprene covers - so I opted for clothe ones.
    http://www.rufftuff.com/
They make all sorts of different materials, including neoprene.

If you call Rufftuff, I think they can make special seats that are compatible with the airbags.

If you're anything like me.....I work around machinery & grease/dirt all day. I get pretty dirty. The seat covers are a necessity. I've had my seat covers for about 2 years and I've had to wash my drivers side twice - that's how filthy I get.

As for bedmats..... I have a Protecta. It's thick, it's rubbery/sticky, and it was cheap.

That's weird. I've had mine for 12. No problems other than they trap an amazing amount of pebbles and debris. they protect your carpet though
