    Did you use a clear coat finish?

    Are you satisfied with how well the color matches in person?

    edit: nvm... I think you're radiant red because that's a sunfire red in the background

    Yep 5 coats of high gloss clear, 4 baked on an the last dried over night!

    Omg yes it matches perfect, it's got the dark shadows in the shade and high gloss shine in the sunshine.

    5 coats as in:

    paint, clear, sand, paint, clear, sand...etc

    or

    paint, clear, clear, clear, clear, clear?

    And what do you mean by "baked on?" You threw it in the oven? :confused:

    Paint booth was full but I dryer it in there. Dad painted a car Friday so I had to add it with his car.

    Success! I got the bed tie down bolts to come out! Some PB Blaster and the impact drill worked! The bolts once removed didn't look all that rusty, and I think the little teeth on the screw head are what was giving me hell.

    Yep. I got lazy on the last coat and left it outside. I'm going to bluff it after it dryers real good.

    Mocked up how my spare tire will sit today. Realized angle aluminum is ballsack so I won't be sitting the tire vertically. And angled only takes away a little rear view if any.

    I used to run my spare angled like that. I made a carrier that mounted in a reciever hitch mounted in the front of the bed. Worked great.

    Was trying to plug in my tail lights and license plate lights today to make the truck drive-able, but ran into a problem. When I have the headlights on, the reverse lights, turn signals, and brake lights all work but not the reds that are supposed to always be on with the headlights. WTF? Help!
