Leafs/Shocks/Coils Question... flame away!

and I want to since i am there replace the shackles, I know they have to be worn, (I've replaced a many on tag-a-longs) and the grease ones are much better.
I just want to be able to break it all down, build it back, with out having to stop and get this or that. quality U-bolts and grade 8 nuts.

 

a Wheelers 5 pack and OME 881s will give you about 2'' up front and 1'' or so out back over stock.

thats the way to go, esp. on the highway at nite when you have to flash to get the sunday driver out of the fast lane they KNOW you are there.
thats one thing I miss about driving the super-duties.

 

I do not like the rake.

And I was asking based on the fact the front and rear would be the same height.

Basically don't want to be lifted much (none if possible) and have the look of rollerskate wheels

 

That I'm not so worried about - and actually looking forward to.

Just don't want to be driving around looking like I have a body lift and stock wheels/tires

I'm VERY PLEASED with the ride and the improved handling. (My stock springs/shocks were spongy and "rolled/leaned" a great deal in corners.) Obviously, our trucks aren't sports cars, but I prefer the increased firmness and stability the new suspension provides.

I really think the 881/5 pack setup will be perfect for your need man.

if you want a smoother ride, get the nitrocharger OME shock too, plus they aren't on back order

the 5100s tend to stiffen up just a bit over time. Im not complaining..but just what i have heard.

and don't worry about tire size! hell mine looked good still with 3'' up front and 4'' out back with 31x10.5s
