    Just use Denso all the way around.
    No clue why the factory does this... my '03 Tundra was the same way. ND on one side and NGK on the other. Toyota likely has a contract with both companies and doing it this way ensures that they are using enough of both to satisfy their contract.
    There is no reason to continue when you change your own.

    Paint the edges. Then, head over to Orchard Supply and look for the small parts bin in the screw isle. You'll find some plugs of various sizes that are perfect for the job.

    Mcmaster/Carr also has a selection but you'll have to order from them.
